I am having trouble scanning the QR code on the test kit flyer. What do I do?

Registering your test kit is a required step for each and every test kit you receive. The lab is unable to process unregistered tests as this is how we ensure the test results are reported to the correct person.

If you are having trouble registering your test kit please follow these steps carefully:

1. Make sure you are scanning the QR code on the red flyer with the built-in iPhone camera. (Free QR scanner apps are not supported by Elo app and they will not be able to register your test).

2. Scan the QR code with the same iPhone that has the Elo app downloaded. It will not work with iPads or any other device that does not have the Elo app downloaded.

3. Double check that you are using the latest version of the Elo app. You can check this by searching for Elo Health app in the Apple app store. If it says 'Update', click the update button and then try to register your test again after.

When you successfully scan the QR code to register your test, you will receive a successful registration pop up message in the Elo app.

If the above troubleshooting steps don't help, we can manually register your test for you!

For manual registration we will need the following 2 images to verify your test ID:

  1. Take a picture of the QR code on the red flyer (it should have a test ID like this IAE0000XXX)
  2. Take a picture of the back of the blood collection card which should have matching test IDs.

Please email us the two pictures at elo@elo.health before you return your test and we will ensure your test get registered.
